Unofficial Patch Plus - A collection of supplementary bug fixes to be used alongside YUP.Yukichigai Unofficial Patch (YUP) - A compilation of vital bug fixes with no further additions.New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE) - You’ll need this for most of these to work at all. Most of these are necessary for a stable game and for the rest of the mods listed here. You’re gonna wanna start with this mod configuration menu, which helps to manage mods in-game. This is a long one, so I’m putting it under a readmore. Keep in mind my preferences for mods tend to be smaller-scale, quality of life and immersive mods, and I’m not super into big story mods. These are both for my own reference and for anyone who’s looking for mod recommendations. I decided to remake the list, both in this post and also in this doc for the sake of documentation. Over the past few months, I’ve tried many more mods since, and have even removed several mods from the original list. I then very casually cruised through it with an LAER because I could take the ammo of all the robots and constantly manufacture overcharge cells. Some months ago, I answered an ask regarding FNV mods I’d recommend. I burned out a run with Paciencia, then again with a choked hunting slugger before finally passing with the Medicine Stick due to the similar crit damage to Paciencia and much higher individual shot damage for the inevitable follow-up shots. I had to abandon two characters in hardcore at OWB due to running out of ammunition and being unable to resupply and the lobotomites are too far and too between with too little ammo and too poor a quality weapon to drop a single robot, let alone the scripted spawns of 3-6 of the things. Meaning they can tank a 3-400 damage sneak attack very easily with just shy of half their HP left and then 6-7 more hits from a Paciencia still. And unlike a Deathclaw, robots have no head. As much, if not more health than the Deathclaw Mother at Quarry Junction. I found all the DLCs at lv50 to be rather simple except for OWB.
